JULIE J. KESTNER – CPA

Julie Kestner serves as the Chief Financial Officer of The Neck and Back Clinics. In that role, she oversees all financial activities of the practice and is responsible for development of internal controls, budgeting, patient accounting (billing, collections and medical records), financial reporting and financial compliance reporting. Working alongside Dr. Benjamin S. Lurie (Chief Executive Officer) and Dr. Matthew C. Olmstead (Chief Operations Officer – Clinical Director) of The Neck and Back Clinics, Ms. Kestner is largely responsible for overseeing and managing the financial side of the practice, while the medical staff works to ensure smooth operations for patient care.

Ms. Kestner has tremendous depth and breadth of experience gained from holding diverse, key positions at significant organizations. Much of her experience has been in the healthcare field, where she served as a financial executive at Anka Behavioral Health, Childhelp and Nevada Cancer Institute, among others. Key responsibilities in those roles have provided a skillset that allows Ms. Kestner to truly understand and impact upon the various parts of a company and its operations. With the continued growth and expansion of The Neck and Back Clinics, Ms. Kestner plays a pivotal role within the practice, positively affecting the internal team and, ultimately, the care that patients receive from the medical staff.

Ms. Kestner earned a BBA in Accounting, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed CPA in Arizona and Texas, and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA).
